Are you struggling with weight gain? You are not alone!  It is estimated that up to 70% of Canadians are overweight or obese. A 2004 study called the Canadian Community Health Survey found that 29% of Canadians 18 years of age or older were obese and 41% more were overweight.

The impact of unwanted weight is profound both physically and mentally. For women and men who struggle with their weight, body image problems can be a major source of low self esteem. Further, the diseases associated with obesity are well-known and strain the health-care system in Canada.

Diseases associated with being overweight:

  • Heart disease
  • Diabetes type II
  • Osteoarthritis
  • High blood pressure
  • Gallbladder disease
  • Breast, endometrial, and colon cancer

Most diets are set up to fail!

When people struggle with their weight, they often go to desperate measures to rid their body of the unwanted pounds. Roller coaster or crash dieting is often successful in helping people lose weight but with the fat loss also comes a loss of lean muscle. With the loss of muscle mass, our metabolism will slow down. Most of the time, the weight will come back and often much more!

It’s time to stop crash dieting!  It is time to get your health and your body back!  The Rapid Weight Loss Program utilizes a natural hormone to promote fat breakdown for energy  without the loss of lean muscle mass  which means that once you lose the weight, you are much more likely to keep it off!

How It Works

In the 1950’s, a British endocrinologist, Dr. Simeons, identified a natural hormone produced in the body of pregnant women that converts stored body fat into nutrition for the growing baby. He theorized that by giving this hormone to overweight patients in conjunction with a low calorie diet, he could encourage the mobilization of fats for energy and prevent muscle breakdown. By 1967, weight-loss patients from around the world flocked to Dr. Simeons’ clinic in Rome to undergo his weight loss program. Amazingly, the patients reported that even though they were adhering to the low-calorie diet, they experienced no hunger, supporting the notion that the body was indeed breaking down the fat stores for energy. It is estimated that an average of 2000 calories are liberated daily from the injections which results in weight loss without feeling hungry or tired for most people.

Today, there has been a resurgence in the use of this hormone for both men and women in weight loss plans such as the Rapid Weight Loss Program. Dr. Simeons’ protocol has been modified by modern-day nutritional and physiological knowledge to be more effective and safer for patients.
